Street Furniture
As the County and District Councils reduce the services they have traditionally prrovided as part of their spending reductions, provision of local facilities such as seats, shelters, littere bins and grit bins is increasinbgly falling to be met by parish councils. Any requests for new or replacement facilities should be made to the Parish Manager.
Street Lighting
Street lighting is provided by Leicestershire County Council. A system of part-night lighting has been introduced with the aim of reducing costs and saving energy.
